I’d’ve been a lot more inspired if the GMs pooled funds to establish an NBA employees association/union to protect and argue for employees and/or set up some kind of more robust Independent system for workplace complaints and whatnot. Of course they would never do something so against their own self interest…
Late career Westbrook seems a lot like late career Allen Iverson to me, where he’s gonna play his way until nobody will let him anymore and he’ll just unceremoniously retire, rather than learn to play a new way.
