I'm all for more randomness and scarcity. 43 or 58 game regular season, and games are only played on 2-3 days a week, like Tuesday, Thursday, and/or Friday, so it's appointment viewing. Play-in tourney. Best of 3 1st round series. Best of 5 2nd round. Best of 7 Conference Finals. Best of 7 finals, but go back to the 2-3-2 format.
