Thinking about how (against expectations) Devin Booker held on to his role on the Olympic team after the coronation of ANT in the playoffs. Other than plus/minus, there are no popular statistics on "missed steals that put you out of position" or "going under screen when you shouldn't" or "going for a block and giving up an offensive rebound." (Note, that in fantasy or "counting stats", unwisely going for steals and blocks inflates the player's value.) Anecdotally, Booker seemed to make fewer mistakes on defence, but I know enough not to trust my eyes. It would be great to have a podcast on common defensive mistakes. (Even Derek White looked bad a few times.)
