I was thinking about how the Blazers really did take a great leap forward --- you can see it in the data --- when Chauncey benched Shaedon for lack of defensive effort. It saved Chauncey's job. That this team has high potential, and is built around the intense effort of Toumani, Deni, and Donovan, can be traced to that moment. I wonder if a Dame team can have moments like that. Anything Shaedon does on D, Dame does worse. You know?
