1. Is the NBA still a LeBron-dominated league?
When LeBron James arrived in Los Angeles, the league was his. It sounds cliché, but the simple fact is that at that time, we were concluding almost a decade wherein nobody won a title without solving him. I’ve written many times that I believe he is the best basketball player ever, and it felt like that. Then, last year, he joined a bad roster and missed a good chunk of the year to a major injury. His absence from the playoffs was a five-alarm fire of opportunity, into which stepped all these Kawhi Leonards, Nikola Jokićs, Giannis Antetokounmpos, and Damian Lillards who will report to training camp not thinking, “man, how will we ever get out of the second round,” but rather, “I know we can do this.” No doubt, LeBron’s return will be ferocious, all-encompassing, and accompanied by Anthony Davis.
