The draft itself went perfectly for the Warriors. They added a wonderful player, James Wiseman, with a chance to delight Warriors fans for many years to come. And yet Bob Myers says the day was a “gut punch” because Klay Thompson has another injury, one that—before an MRI—has people worrying about his career.
2020 does it again. I imagine some Warriors fans are thinking this means the end of the whole dynasty—that Stephen Curry and company will never dominate and win trophies again. We’ll see.
